It’s not the extent of the damage, it’s the extent of the heartbreak.”
PLYMOUTH - Christopher Hart surveyed the scene at Three Harts Farm and tried to make sense of it all. Vandals had struck the veterans outreach facility on Beaver Dam Road Saturday evening and left their mark. The damage was minor, but that wasn’t the point.
“It’s not the extent of the damage, it’s the extent of the heartbreak,” he said.
For Hart, helping veterans is all about honoring their service to the country. To him, a veterans center is sacrosanct, beyond even consideration as a target for vandals.
Plymouth police are investigating the crime, which was believed to occur between 6 and 7 p.m. on March 16. Surveillance videos are being reviewed and leads are being checked. It is believed that young people caused the damage.
